The team

Emilie Gagnon (she)

Founding member - CEO Management and special projects
Treasurer (Board of Directors)

Emilie puts project management at the service of design by valuing human relationships as the driving force behind collective transformation. Her career path has taken her from industrial design to event planning, always with the same curiosity for projects that transform ideas into concrete experiences. An experienced project manager, she juggles deadlines, budgets, and the unexpected, without ever losing sight of what matters: human relationships, collaboration, and meaning. She sits on the board of directors of Réseau Coop and the Fédération de la coopération du travail du Québec, where she helps promote cooperative practices. She also shares her expertise as a lecturer at the UQAM School of Design (DESS in event design) and at UQAT (new media program), with a teaching approach rooted in reality, community, and sensitivity.

Pierre Moro-Lin (he)

Founding member - CEO Design and project management
President (Board of Directors)

Pierre sees design as a tool for social and urban transformation, promoting know-how and the exchange of expertise. For over 14 years, he has been exploring the many facets of design—from events to public space planning—in France and Quebec. His areas of expertise include public spaces, multimedia installations, urban studies, and furniture that interacts with everyday life. His practice is guided by social and environmental issues, with a particular focus on what places tell us and what people experience in them. He is actively involved in community life, notably on the boards of directors of SDC Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and the Audiotopie cooperative. Pierre also shares his perspective and experience in teaching as a lecturer in the DESS program in event design at the UQAM School of Design, where he guides students in their creative and critical explorations.

Maxim Bonin (he)

Founding member - CEO Research
Vice-President (Board of Directors)

Maxim places research at the heart of his approach to better understand the cultural dynamics and issues of different regions. As head of research and development at the cooperative, he explores the links between culture, territory, and media. A professor of communication at UQAT, he teaches in the Department of Creation and New Media in Rouyn-Noranda, where he guides students in their critical and creative thinking. With a PhD in communication, his current research focuses on local cultural dynamics, the uses of riverside spaces in cities, and the temporalities of New York's underground scenes. Maxim is co-director of confluences.lab (UQAT) and an affiliated professor at the Atelier de chronotopies urbaines (UQAM), where he continues to build bridges between artistic practices, public spaces, and urban narratives.

Xavier Massicotte (he)

Xavier leads and engages in projects where social and collective impact becomes a lever for regional transformation. Trained in political science and international development management, he is interested in the governance of development projects and how citizens take ownership of the spaces around them. His experience gives him a keen understanding of institutional dynamics and organizational workings, but it is above all his ability to listen, connect, and mobilize that makes the difference. Xavier knows how to read the needs of stakeholders and create the conditions for projects to come to life. He is particularly involved in the field of events and the development of initiatives with a strong social impact—where design, politics, and the collective meet.
