Urban design – Promenade Jarry Est
Urban signage
The committee of merchants and residents of Jarry Street East entrusted Le Comité with the mandate to create a permanent signage route, thereby formalizing the birth of the new association. The proposal for the Jarry East Promenade consists of a range of 15 colorful, dynamic elements inspired by the association’s graphic identity, as well as lettering on the marquee of the Jarry metro station. These fragments of letters spelling out the word “Jarry” punctuate the promenade and are located in strategic locations such as street entrances, the metro station, and a busy intersection.

Large in size and made of aluminum, steel, and wood, they become landmarks and catch the eye of passersby. Each element bears the identity of the promenade and serves as both a source of information for merchants (maps, upcoming events, etc.) and a source of historical content.
