A mobile celebration showcasing Montreal’s alleys

Led by Le Comité and the TOHU, Chats de ruelles is a mobile party that has been set up for 19 weekends in 19 boroughs of Montreal during 2017 as part of the 375th festivities. This one-of-a-kind event was an opportunity to build bridges between neighborhood residents and the cultural fields.

A festive and family-friendly program of 19 events including urban agriculture workshops, circus workshops, emerging artist concerts, outdoor screenings, yoga classes and an augmented reality experience were on the agenda. It was also an opportunity to highlight the urban, cultural and environmental heritage of the streets in a more festive context.
