Terraces – Jean-Talon Market

In 2022, Le Comité was commissioned by the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough to design the north and south pedestrian walkways of Place du Marché-du-Nord between Casgrain and Henri-Julien avenues at Jean-Talon Market. The project aims to support commercial activity and provide more space for pedestrians, strollers, and public events. In collaboration with Marchés publics de Montréal and the Société de développement commercial de la Petite-Italie, this design process includes the installation of two public terraces, a range of seating and greenery, and signage at the entrances to the pedestrian streets.
