Magtogoek – Igloofest
Event scenography
“Magtogoek,” the river that walks in Algonquin, is an installation that is part of the City of Montreal’s special 375th anniversary edition: Village Nordik. The shelter is inspired by Indigenous dwellings and their relationship with nature. This construction questions the availability and proximity of materials once used in the construction of our homes and the abandonment, in part, of this principle of self-sufficiency in modern architecture.
