Essaim – Miels d’Anicet
Interpretation structure
Located in Ferme-Neuve in the Upper Laurentians, the “Essaim” interpretation hive at Miels d’Anicet, designed by Le Comité, is based on a unique concept: six vertical stations that structure the space while offering educational content.
The interpretive hive, made of hemlock and Corten steel, is both an architectural installation and an educational tool. The installation aims to enhance the attractiveness of the tourist site and to disseminate information about bee conservation and beekeeping knowledge in an original way.
This project is the result of close collaboration with Caserne, which designed the brand identity and graphics for the interpretive panels. Inspired by the natural environment and existing infrastructure of the honey farm, the proposal offers visitors an educational and interactive area that showcases the expertise and history of Miels d’Anicet.
