La Nuée – Mont-Royal Avenue

Contest

La Nuée explores parametric design through the materialization of weather data collected on the Island of Montreal, in the form of a succession of layers suspended in the air.

This is the concept behind our proposal for the competition launched by Odace Événements and the Borough of Plateau Mont-Royal. In order to offer visitors to Place des Fleurs de Macadam pleasant shade that moves across the site throughout the day, La Nuée blends in with the surrounding vegetation, while echoing the shades of macadam flower petals and remaining anchored in a changing and unpredictable climate.

Congratulations to the finalists: Choses Communes and the architectural duo Corinne Deleers and Rosemarie Faille-Faubert.

And congratulations to the winner: En temps et lieu.
